About the Role
As data becomes the foundation of competitive advantage, our organization is elevating data from a functional capability to a core enterprise asset. The Chief Data Officer (CDO) will sit at the center of this transformation, responsible for shaping how data, analytics, AI, and governance drive strategic decisions, operational excellence, and long-term growth.
This role is designed for a senior executive who understands that modern data leadership extends beyond infrastructure. The CDO will define enterprise data strategy, establish governance and ethics frameworks, and unlock value through advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-enabled insights across every business domain.
The successful candidate will partner closely with the CEO, CFO, CIO/CTO, and business unit leaders to ensure data initiatives are aligned with corporate strategy, regulatory requirements, and innovation priorities. This is a high-visibility leadership role with responsibility for building scalable platforms, leading high-performing data teams, and embedding a data-driven culture across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Define and execute the enterprise-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with corporate objectives.

Establish governance, quality, privacy, security, and ethical frameworks for data usage.

Lead the development of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning capabilities at scale.

Oversee enterprise data architecture, platforms, and integration across systems.

Drive data monetization, insight generation, and value realization initiatives.

Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Build, mentor, and lead global data, analytics, and engineering teams.

Ensure compliance with data regulations and industry standards.

Measure and report on data maturity, performance, and business impact.
Job Qualifications and Requirements

12+ years of progressive leadership experience in data, analytics, or technology roles.

Proven experience as a senior data leader in a large, complex organization.

Deep knowledge of data governance, analytics platforms, AI/ML, and cloud ecosystems.

Strong understanding of regulatory, privacy, and risk considerations related to data.

Demonstrated ability to translate data strategy into measurable business outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS, PhD).
