Chief Fulfillment Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a Chief Fulfillment Officer (CFO) to lead enterprise-wide fulfillment, distribution, and logistics operations across multiple regions and channels. This role is designed for a senior operations leader who combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and technology-driven execution to ensure customer satisfaction, efficiency, and scalability at a global scale.

The Chief Fulfillment Officer will oversee end-to-end fulfillment operations, including warehouses, transportation, order management, and last-mile delivery. This executive will drive innovation, automation, and process optimization, partnering with technology, supply chain, and commercial leadership to enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve delivery experience for millions of customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead global fulfillment, distribution, and logistics operations for the enterprise

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize order accuracy, delivery speed, cost efficiency, and operational scalability

• Implement technology-enabled solutions, including robotics, AI, warehouse automation, and advanced logistics platforms

• Oversee performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track fulfillment efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational health

• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and partners to ensure seamless operations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Technology, Customer Experience, and Finance

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and operational excellence programs

• Lead and mentor senior fulfillment and logistics leaders, building a high-performance organization

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA strongly preferred)

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain operations, including C-level or senior director experience

• Experience managing large-scale, complex, multi-site operations in e-commerce, retail, or advanced logistics

• Strong expertise in technology-enabled fulfillment, warehouse automation, and last-mile logistics

• Proven success driving operational transformation, cost optimization, and process innovation

• Ability to manage P&L responsibility, strategic planning, and executive-level reporting

• Experience leading large teams across multiple regions

• Driving strategic initiatives to scale operations, reduce costs, and improve service reliability

• Supporting mergers, acquisitions, or expansion initiatives through the integration of fulfillment operations

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Range: $290,000 – $381,000 USD annually
