PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Enterprise Technology Strategy: Define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with corporate vision and growth priorities.

• Digital Transformation: Lead global initiatives that modernize infrastructure, migrate to cloud-first systems, and leverage AI/ML to enhance performance.

• Cybersecurity & Risk: Ensure enterprise resilience through robust cybersecurity strategies, zero-trust frameworks, and compliance with global regulations.

• Data & Analytics Leadership: Drive advanced data strategies, ensuring integrity, accessibility, and monetization of enterprise data assets.

• Innovation & R&D: Establish innovation labs and partnerships to incubate emerging technologies and accelerate product development.

• Technology Operations: Oversee enterprise IT, application development, and systems integration with a focus on reliability and scalability.

• Vendor & Ecosystem Management: Lead global vendor negotiations and partnerships to deliver cost-efficient and innovative solutions.

• Executive & Board Reporting: Deliver technology updates, progress on transformation, and future investment priorities directly to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education and Abilities

• 18+ years of progressive leadership in technology, IT strategy, or enterprise systems, with at least 7+ years in senior executive roles.

• Proven success in technology, SaaS, or financial services enterprises at global scale.

• Expertise in cloud ecosystems, enterprise applications, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and digital transformation frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of data governance, risk management, and compliance standards.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or MBA preferred.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence with demonstrated Board-level engagement.

• Ability to lead large, distributed global technology teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Strategic Support

The Chief Technology Officer serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive committee, ensuring technology drives both resilience and growth. Key contributions include:

• Advising on capital allocation for digital investments and innovation programs.

• Supporting M&A integration with post-merger technology alignment.

• Partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product leaders to accelerate enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

• Driving ESG objectives by embedding sustainable IT practices and energy-efficient systems into enterprise strategy.

Working Conditions

• Remote role with periodic travel to global technology hubs, leadership summits, and innovation centers.

• Requires flexibility across international time zones to manage global IT operations and transformation programs.
