The Director of IT Operations is a senior executive partner in ensuring our global technology stack remains secure, agile, and future-ready.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Operational Leadership: Oversee global IT operations, data centers, network infrastructure, and enterprise systems to ensure 24/7 availability and scalability.
Strategic Execution: Translate business priorities into IT initiatives, aligning operations with enterprise growth, innovation, and digital-first strategies.
Technology Modernization: Drive cloud migration, DevOps adoption, and automation programs that enhance performance, reduce cost, and increase agility.
Cyber & Risk Governance: Collaborate with Security and Compliance leaders to enforce policies, monitor risk, and maintain operational resilience.
Vendor & Partner Management: Manage global technology vendors, SLAs, and outsourcing relationships to ensure consistent delivery quality.
Budget & Cost Optimization: Lead IT financial planning and ROI analysis for infrastructure investments and operational budgets.
Team Development: Mentor IT managers and engineers, build succession pipelines, and cultivate a culture of accountability and innovation.
Incident & Crisis Response: Oversee rapid-response protocols and business-continuity procedures to minimize service disruption.
Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education and Abilities
12 + years of progressive leadership in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Enterprise Technology Management, including 5 + years at a senior-director or VP level.
Demonstrated experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid-cloud environments, and enterprise network management.
Strong knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and SRE frameworks, with proven results in uptime improvement and operational cost reduction.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Track record managing multi-site, global teams with both on-prem and remote workforce structures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills with executive-level presence.
Strategic Support
Partner directly with the CIO and CTO to design and execute enterprise IT strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
Serve as the bridge between technology and business, ensuring operational decisions enable innovation and market differentiation.
Contribute to Board-level discussions on digital transformation, system reliability, and technology investment priorities.
Drive enterprise initiatives in automation, AI operations, and predictive analytics for proactive IT management.
Support company-wide ESG objectives by implementing energy-efficient and sustainable technology operations.
Working Conditions
