As the Director of Sales, you will lead high-performing sales teams, expand market reach, build strategic account plans, and drive initiatives that strengthen our commercial growth and customer impact. This role requires strong leadership, commercial discipline, and the ability to partner closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive teams.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage regional or national sales teams across multiple customer segments.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth targets, market trends, and commercial objectives.

  • Oversee pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and performance metrics.

  • Drive new business acquisition while expanding relationships within existing enterprise accounts.

  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to refine market positioning, pricing strategies, and value propositions.

  • Support contract negotiations, deal structuring, and customer relationship development.

  • Implement scalable sales processes, CRM best practices, and sales enablement standards.

  • Guide onboarding, training, and development programmes for Sales Managers and Account Executives.

  • Lead quarterly business reviews, sales reporting cycles, and executive updates.

  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure strong handoffs, renewals, and long-term account satisfaction.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Leadership roles.

  • Experience leading teams in technology, SaaS, enterprise software, or digital services.

  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in competitive markets.

  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, forecasting techniques, and CRM structures.

  • Experience with enterprise-level deal cycles and executive stakeholder engagement.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced business or leadership qualifications are advantageous.

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills.

  • Provide executive insights into revenue trends, competitive positioning, and market opportunities.

  • Support commercial planning cycles, go-to-market strategies, and long-range portfolio initiatives.

  • Partner with Finance to align sales forecasting with broader financial planning.

  • Contribute to product feedback loops, customer insight programmes, and strategic roadmap discussions.

  • Influence cross-functional alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and customer delivery.


Working Conditions

  • Remote role within the United States with periodic travel for client meetings, sales team events, or leadership sessions.

  • Collaboration across distributed sales, marketing, and product organisations.

  • High accountability for revenue performance, forecasting accuracy, and customer engagement.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $245,000 – $278,000

  • Performance-based commission structure
