As Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead complex, multi-million-dollar IT initiatives, working directly with executives and global teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with enterprise goals.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Program Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT projects across multiple business units.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Technology, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Product teams to align project objectives with corporate priorities.

  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage multi-million-dollar project budgets and resource allocation with fiscal accountability.

  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure projects comply with internal controls, security requirements, and regulatory standards (SOX, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks impacting delivery, ensuring business continuity and resilience.

  • Technology Integration: Lead deployment of enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity solutions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver regular updates, dashboards, and executive-level briefings to C-suite leaders and the Board.

  • Continuous Improvement: Embed agile, DevOps, and Lean practices into project frameworks to accelerate delivery and improve outcomes.


Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education and Abilities

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in IT project management or enterprise technology programs, with 7+ years in senior roles.

  • Proven success in financial services, technology, or global Fortune 500 organizations.

  • Deep expertise in enterprise project governance, cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), ERP systems, and cybersecurity.

  • Certifications preferred: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business; MBA preferred.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills with demonstrated C-suite and Board-level engagement.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, global project teams delivering on high-stakes, compliance-driven initiatives.


Strategic Support

The Senior IT Project Manager serves as a strategic partner to the CIO, CTO, and CFO, ensuring IT programs drive value creation and resilience. Key contributions include:

  • Advising on capital allocation for technology initiatives and digital transformation.

  • Supporting M&A integration through IT system alignment and operational harmonization.

  • Partnering with Risk and Compliance to embed cyber resilience and governance practices.

  • Driving ESG by ensuring IT programs incorporate sustainable and ethical technology practices.


Working Conditions

  • Remote role with periodic travel to technology hubs, data centers, and executive summits.

  • Requires flexibility across time zones to manage global teams and stakeholders.

  • High-visibility leadership role with direct accountability for enterprise-wide IT program delivery.

  • Operates in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment requiring foresight, resilience, and precision.
