About the Role
The Senior Director of Learning & Development is a critical enterprise leadership role responsible for architecting, scaling, and continuously evolving a world-class learning ecosystem across a complex, global organization. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, workforce transformation, digital enablement, and leadership excellence.
You will design and lead an integrated learning strategy that supports executive leadership, emerging talent, and mission-critical skill development across technology, operations, and corporate functions. The role requires a proven leader who understands how learning directly fuels business performance, innovation, and cultural alignment at scale.
This position partners closely with the C-suite, HR leadership, business unit executives, and external learning partners to ensure the organization remains competitive in a rapidly evolving digital and AI-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Define and execute an enterprise-wide Learning & Development strategy aligned with long-term business objectives

Lead the design and deployment of leadership development, executive education, and enterprise capability frameworks

Oversee global learning programs, including technical upskilling, management development, succession planning, and workforce reskilling

Build and manage a high-performing L&D leadership team, including learning operations, instructional design, and digital learning platforms

Drive adoption of advanced learning technologies, including AI-enabled learning platforms, analytics, and personalized learning journeys

Partner with business leaders to identify critical skill gaps and translate them into scalable learning solutions

Establish governance, metrics, and ROI measurement for learning initiatives across the enterprise

Manage multi-million-dollar learning budgets and vendor partnerships with global training providers
Job Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

12+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness

5+ years in a senior leadership role managing enterprise-level learning strategies

Proven experience leading global L&D initiatives in large, matrixed organizations

Deep understanding of leadership development, adult learning theory, and digital learning ecosystems

Experience implementing learning strategies that support technology transformation and future-ready skills

Compensation & Benefits
Total Compensation Package: $250,000 – $340,000 USD annually
