Senior Product Marketing Manager

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is a highly strategic role designed for an experienced marketer who understands both product depth and commercial execution. This leader will sit at the center of Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership, owning product narratives, go-to-market strategy, competitive intelligence, and lifecycle messaging across a sophisticated product portfolio.

This role goes far beyond feature marketing. You will influence roadmap decisions, enable revenue teams, shape category narratives, and ensure that product value is clearly articulated to customers, partners, and the broader market.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product marketing strategy for one or more flagship product lines.

  • Define product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions grounded in customer outcomes.

  • Lead go-to-market planning for major launches, feature releases, and platform enhancements.

  • Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap prioritization using market insights and customer feedback.

  • Develop competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, and market landscape assessments.

  • Enable Sales and Revenue teams with messaging, pitch decks, battlecards, and customer-facing materials.

  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and Brand teams to drive adoption, pipeline impact, and revenue growth.

  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

  • Track product performance, adoption trends, and customer sentiment to refine messaging and strategy.

  • Present product strategy, launch plans, and market insights to senior leadership.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within SaaS, AI, or enterprise technology.

  • Proven success leading product launches and GTM strategies for complex digital products.

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and customer journey mapping.

  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging market research, analytics, and customer insights.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced marketing/business degree preferred.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Product Leadership on market readiness and positioning strategy.

  • Support corporate growth initiatives through differentiated messaging and category leadership.

  • Partner with Revenue Operations on pricing, packaging, and value realization strategies.

  • Provide executive-level insights on market trends, competitive shifts, and customer needs.

  • Influence enterprise-wide communication around product vision and innovation.


Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $220,000 – $285,000

  • Annual performance-based bonus
