The Vice President of Distribution will lead enterprise-level distribution strategy, manage multi-site operational teams, and drive transformation initiatives that modernise infrastructure, improve service levels, and increase overall throughput. This role requires strong executive judgment, operational leadership, and the ability to influence results across complex networks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead strategic direction and daily operations for all distribution centers, regional hubs, and fulfillment workflows.
Develop and execute multi-year distribution strategies aligned with organisational goals and customer requirements.
Oversee workforce planning, capacity modeling, network design, and operational forecasting.
Implement performance standards, KPIs, and operational dashboards to monitor productivity and accuracy.
Strengthen operational excellence through process improvements, automation adoption, and technology integration.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Transportation, IT, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned distribution operations.
Lead compliance with safety standards, quality practices, and regulatory requirements.
Manage operational risk, business continuity planning, and infrastructure resilience across all distribution sites.
Oversee vendor relationships, partnerships, and third-party logistics (3PL) performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cost, improve service levels, and optimize network performance.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
12+ years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain Operations, Logistics Management, or related leadership roles.
Experience leading multi-site distribution centers and large-scale operational environments.
Proven ability to develop and execute operational strategies across complex networks.
Knowledge of WMS, TMS, automation systems, and performance management frameworks.
Strong understanding of quality control, workforce management, and operational forecasting.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or industry certifications are an advantage.
Strong collaboration experience with cross-functional partners including Supply Chain, IT, Finance, HR, and Safety teams.

Contribute to cross-functional planning sessions and enterprise decision-making.
Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $355,000 – $435,000
