As Vice President of IT Operations, you will be responsible for leading the teams that ensure seamless IT performance, operational continuity, and technology scalability across the enterprise. You will be at the center of strategic decision-making, partnering with C-Suite leaders to shape the future of our IT environment while driving reliability, efficiency, and governance standards that support ongoing growth and transformation.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a technology executive who thrives in global, fast-moving enterprise environments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • IT Operations Leadership: Direct all IT operations functions including infrastructure, cloud services, network engineering, service delivery, systems administration, monitoring, and IT support.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement ITIL frameworks, standardized workflows, and process automation to maximize uptime, performance, and operational efficiency.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy: Oversee hybrid/multi-cloud operations, legacy modernization, and infrastructure lifecycle management.

  • Cybersecurity Alignment: Partner closely with Security teams to ensure compliance, resilience, and protection across all IT platforms.

  • Incident & Problem Management: Lead escalation management, root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and preventive action implementation.

  • Budget & Vendor Management: Manage IT operations budgets, vendor negotiations, service contracts, and technology sourcing.

  • Technology Roadmaps: Contribute to long-term IT modernization plans, capacity planning, and enterprise technology investments.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop global IT operations teams, building a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.

  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, internal controls, and corporate security standards.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Finance, and Operations to support business continuity and digital transformation.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Management, Service Delivery, or Cloud Operations, including 5+ years in senior leadership.

  • Proven success leading large-scale IT organizations in technology, financial services, SaaS, or global enterprise environments.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, data center operations, networking, automation tools, system performance engineering, and monitoring technologies.

  • Deep understanding of ITIL, DevOps practices, SRE principles, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance frameworks.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in IT, Engineering, or MBA preferred.

  • Experience managing multi-region teams and high-availability environments (24/7/365).

  • Expertise in budgeting, vendor relationships, and enterprise technology procurement.

Strategic Support

  • Serve as a key partner to the CIO, CISO, CTO, and Executive Leadership Team.

  • Support enterprise digital transformation, cloud migration initiatives, and technology modernization programs.

  • Provide strategic insight for capital allocation, investment prioritization, and technology portfolio decisions.

  • Support risk management, business continuity planning, and resilience strategy.

  • Drive alignment across enterprise systems, architecture planning, and operations governance.


Working Conditions

  • Remote role with periodic travel to data centers, IT hubs, leadership meetings, and operational reviews.

  • Requires flexibility to support global operations and occasional after-hours engagement during major incidents.

  • High-visibility executive environment with significant accountability for uptime and reliability.

  • Fast-paced, complex ecosystem involving multiple technologies, platforms, and cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $255,000 – $287,000

  • Executive Bonus: Annual performance-based incentive

  • Long-Term Incentives: Equity, LTIP, or stock options based on eligibility
