As the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations, you will oversee end-to-end supply chain strategy, create operational alignment across functions, and ensure that distribution, manufacturing, transportation, and sourcing operations perform at a world-class level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of supply chain operations including logistics, sourcing, fulfillment, inventory, transportation, and distribution network performance.
Develop and execute multi-year supply chain strategies aligned with organisational goals, customer demands, and operational constraints.
Oversee global demand planning, forecasting accuracy, supply continuity, and capacity management.
Drive operational excellence through structured performance metrics, process optimisation, and advanced supply chain technologies.
Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams to align supply chain performance with business priorities.
Lead large-scale operational improvements including automation adoption, systems modernisation, and network redesign.
Manage supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiations to ensure cost control and continuity.
Establish governance frameworks including KPIs, dashboards, executive reporting models, and risk mitigation structures.
Oversee transportation strategy, 3PL performance, distribution center operations, and inventory health.
Guide teams through scenario planning, contingency strategies, and business continuity planning.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Supply Chain Operations, Logistics, Procurement, or related operational disciplines.
Experience in medium-to-large organisations with complex global supply chain networks.
Strong understanding of supply chain systems, planning tools, WMS/TMS technologies, and operational forecasting.
Proven expertise in cross-functional leadership and managing multi-site operational environments.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business are advantageous.
Strong analytical, commercial, and operational decision-making skills.
Experience with lean methodologies, continuous improvement frameworks, and large-scale transformation initiatives.

Influence cross-functional planning cycles including budget reviews, portfolio discussions, and procurement strategies.
Working Conditions
Remote role within the United States, with periodic travel to distribution centers, supplier sites, and leadership meetings.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $345,000 – $390,000
